The Tropical House
Welcome to Paradise!
The Tropical Greenhouse at Lancaster Gardens in open Year Round and features a wide variety of plants for inside the home. Our impressive collection of cacti and succulents is sure to wow you, while our ever changing foliage offerings include both common and rare finds. From tiny 2inch starter plants to full grown floor plants, you are sure to find something you love!
Houseplants you can (almost) always find include varieties of:
Cactus, Croton, Calathea, Bromeliad, Dracaena, Fern, Ficus, Hoya, Ivy, Palm, Peace Lily,

Our Roots
Founded in 1971, Lancaster Gardens is a family-owned and operated garden center located in Lancaster, Massachusetts. We specialize in growing a diverse range of plants, and pride ourselves on providing quality products at affordable prices.
Every season we plant and grow our own plants on over an acre of growing area. Additionally, our Gift & Garden Shop and 2,400 sqft Tropical Greenhouse is open year-round. We cater to both Retail and Wholesale customers, and are happy to provide seasonal Fundraising Opportunities to help support local organizations.
Whether you are brand new to the plant world, a seasoned gardener, or somewhere in between, we believe there is always something new to discover. That is why you can always find something interesting at Lancaster Gardens.
